A special ceremony was held at the Ray Convention Center in Tel Aviv, marking Maaynei Hayeshua Medical Center’s 25th anniversary.
The gala dinner was introduced and moderated by radio host Averi Gilad, who captivated the audience with his descriptions of the Medical Center’s early years. He described the Medical Center’s extensive activity during its 25 years of existence, the tremendous devotion invested by the medical team into each patient, and its constant emphasis on “doing it with heart,” resulting in medical care of the highest standard while maintaining the value of sanctity of life.
“Whenever I would pass the Geha Interchange and see the Maaynei Hayeshua sign, I had no idea what it was. I assume there were many other drivers on that main road who, like me, did not know what it is,” he said. “I was pleasantly surprised when I came to the Medical Center, especially considering the public portrayal in Israel of Bnei Brak. I could not believe what was being done in Maaynei Hayeshua.
“I saw a leading Medical Center with everything that that implies, the highest-caliber medical staff and the latest technology. More than anything, I was impressed by the heart and dedication invested by the medical staff. Because this is the uniqueness of combining the highest level of professional care with a strong belief in the sanctity of life”
