Professor Rael Strous is full professor of psychiatry at Tel Aviv University’s Sackler Faculty of Medicine.
Professor Rael Strous serves on Israel’s national committees on mental health and suicide prevention. He is the chief editor of the Israel Journal of Psychiatry, and also serves as chair of the Israel Psychiatry Association Ethics Committee. He completed his training in psychiatry at New York’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and was a clinical research fellow in psychopharmacology at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center, Harvard Medical School. His research interests include psychopharmacology, genetics, neuro-imaging, neurosteroids, epidemiology and ethics.
